VASCAFEM OSTEOPOROSIS AWARENESS FUN RUN
14th October 2023, Hart & Bosch Village Park
The 20th of October marks World Osteporosis Awareness day, in support of this we hosted an event.The Osteoporosis Awareness Fun Run/Walk 5k was held on the 14th October 2023, sponsored by Vascafem and other local institutions it was a successful event that aimed to raise awareness about the importance of bone health.
The event provided free body analysis, bone density, blood pressure monitoring, and diabetes tests to the community. Through this collaborative effort, the community came together to contribute towards preventing osteoporosis and improving the overall health and wellbeing of its members.

16 days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence
Vascafem, Buco Cape Town, and Bush Radio 89.5 FM joined hands to raise awareness, and take a stand against Gender-Based Violence in Cape Town. During the 16 days of activism against Gender-based violence. They visited different sites across the city to support victims, spread awareness, and empower individuals to fight against these heinous crimes. By taking a stand, we can create a community where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued. #16daysofactivism

Heartbeat FM held a successful inspirational Women’s conference for 2023 in Oudtshoorn. This event was held with Women’s Month in mind, the program included Music, entertainment as well as motivational and inspirational talks, aimed at empowering and inspiring women to celebrate their achievements. The event was attended by ladies from the local community who all received a Vascafem supplement to support their overall well being.

The Women’s Month Health Festival, a collaborative effort between Mthimkhulu Community Development and Kleinmond Clinic, brought much-needed healthcare support to the town’s women.
Kleinmond is a unique community where women are often the primary breadwinners due to the lack of fishing quotas for men. This festival was more than just an event; it was an opportunity for these resilient women to receive essential health advice and screenings.
The festival offered screenings for breast cancer and basic gynecological assessments, addressing critical health and lifestyle issues that these women face daily. But the highlight of the event was the donation of Vascafem, a product known for supporting health and overall well-being.
A Day of Pampering at IKhaya Lethemba
Women’s Month was celebrated in a special way at IKhaya Lethemba, an NGO dedicated to uplifting the community. The day was filled with joy as the ladies were treated to goodie bags filled with products designed to pamper them.
But the highlight of the day was the donation of Vascafem, a women’s health supplement known for supporting health and well-being. This thoughtful gift was more than just a product; it was a symbol of care and support for these incredible women.
Inspirational Women’s Month events held by Bush Radio.
Bush Radio, in celebration of Women’s Month, held a series of inspirational events aimed at empowering women. The highlight was the Women’s Action Group empowerment event, where women were taught self-defense. This training aimed to empower women, enabling them to defend themselves in situations where they might need to use self-defense.
In addition to the invaluable skills imparted, the women were gifted with Vascafem products. These supplements are designed to support women’s natural health and vitality, further empowering them in their daily lives.
The celebrations didn’t stop there. Bush Radio continued the Women’s Month festivities by holding two more events. The hardworking ladies of Buco and the 1000 GBV Portraits Campaign were uplifted with the gift of Vascafem products. These events served not only as a celebration but also as a testament to the strength and resilience of women.
Benevolent Park Fundraising event
Benevolent Park fundraising events aim to raise funds to care for the elderly and to uplift the community. This was a resounding success, the ladies in attendance were entertained by none other than “My Moena from Suidooster". The Vascafem supplement was placed in a goodie bag, that each lady received and this supplement could make a difference in the lives of these women.
